Third party fibre was damaged between Busselton and Perth. 4G failover was put in place to provide connectivity in a backup manner whilst a technician was dispatched to repair the damage. 4G connectivity became effective at 10am. Fibre services were confirmed restored at 5pm and failed-back transparently.

On Nov 14th 2023 at 3:46pm, subscribers on the primary ‘LTU 1’ network suffered packet loss and degraded throughput. Initial investigations showed a significant drop in signal quality, with no clear change or event underpinning the change.

Updates were pushed out to affected devices to improve connectivity reliability whilst investigations are ongoing, although connections are currently experiencing degraded throughput.

Update 2023-11-16: Confirmed failed hardware, being replaced by vendor. Temporary replacement hardware installed to mitigate all customer impact.

Update 2023-12-27: Replacement hardware arrived, booked to install.

Third party planned network maintenance. Outage duration up to 30 minutes.

2023-10-05 5:30am

Available customer bandwidth was degraded for 59 minutes due to a repeated and sustained series of connection attempts to core network infrastructure from external locations. Mitigations were put in place to block these inbound connection attempts and prevent future potential interruptions. A complete service outage occurred for one minute at 6:29am to apply these changes, and by 6:48am the issue was confirmed resolved.
