Woods Wifi – Coverage Areas
Serviced by dedicated enterprise fibre connected back to WA’s core internet exchange in Perth, Woods Wifi provided by Busselton Wifi provides high speed internet to businesses operating in the Woods on Rendezvous area of Woodswallow Way in Vasse WA.
The internet access provided by a Busselton Wifi service is not provided by the nbn® network, but can either co-exist with any established nbn® connections, or replace it and make use of the existing infrastructure to minimise costs.
Whilst we endeavour to provide high-bandwidth and reliable internet connectivity to all properties within this development, we are limited by certain topologies and obstructions such as large trees. If a Woods Wifi connection is not yet available at your location, we’ll keep your details on file and reach out to you when our service coverage has expanded to include your address.
Woods Wifi – Plans
Before you ask – we don’t offer 25Mbps plans, as we simply don’t think they are of good value or fit for modern internet consumption. If you have a bespoke use case for such a plan though, for example if it’s just for wifi calling or even a remote pump, please feel free to contact us to work out a suitable option.
All plans are paid monthly in advance via credit card or direct debit, and require minimum 30 (thirty) days cancellation notice. All plans include unlimited data, and have the option of a static IP being assigned.
Business 50
From $70 per month.
This plan offers up to 50Mbps down, 20Mbps up, and is the most common plan for everyday use by small families or individuals. Typically evening speeds for these connections are 40Mbps download and 15Mbps upload.
Business 100Mbps
From $100 per month.
This plan offers up to 100Mbps down, 40Mbps up, and is the most common plan for larger families or power users. Typically evening speeds for these connections are 90Mbps download and 30Mbps upload.
Business 250Mbps
From $200 per month.
This plan offers up to 250Mbps down, 100Mbps up, and is for band-width hungry power users such as anyone working with media. Typically evening speeds for these connections are 230Mbps download and 80Mbps upload.
Custom
If you need something specific, such as low-throughput connections for IoT devices, guaranteed throughput for mission-critical applications, or want to consolidate multiple connections at a discounted rate, please reach out to us and we’ll make something fit!
Residential
Well, at this point we just aren’t offering residential service. There are other options available though, which you can have a read of over here.
Woods Wifi – Performance
Should any of our plans not perform to your expectation, please feel free to let us know.
The team behind Busselton Wifi proactively monitor both the per-customer and total throughput for quality assurance purposes, and endeavour to continually provision more bandwidth as usage increases, however, should environmental conditions interfere, your connection quality may degrade and another plan be more suitable for your location instead.
We do also have the option of ‘Enterprise’ plans which include guaranteed minimum throughput, and the provision of one or more static IP address(es) if required. You can make this request via the Client Portal.
